Winehouse docu sets Mipcom bow

3DD Prods.' "Recalling Amy," a docu honoring the background music from the late Amy Winehouse designed for Funnel 4 in Blighty and presold to NRK Norwegian and Turner Latin America, will bow in the Mipcom TV mart in Cannes in a few days.The 30-minute show features interviews and concert footage from 2006, the entire year the thrush's legendary album "To Black" bowed. Winehouse died in This summer, age 27, from the drug overdose."Recalling Amy" is a component of 3DD's "London Live" skein, which begins its seventh season with perfs by British bands Elbow and Kasabian shot at London venue Koko.3DD can also be repping showbiz strand, "Stars from the Big Screen,Inch in the mart.Created in colaboration with the U.K.'s Bio HD web, the most recent 13 one-hour shows happen to be acquired by Viasat, Globosat, SBS Australia, TV Catalunya and Bio Germany.The brand new batch, "Stars from the Big Screen,Inch features a docu on Lana Turner timed to coincide using the 50th anniversary from the star's dying next August.Shot working in london and NY, show features clips from Monroe's movies, archive footage from her looks at fests and galas, and contributions from film experts and authors.Further instances of the skein are dedicated to Bette Davis, Frank Sinatra, James Stewart, Bette Davis, Clark Gable, Katharine Hepburn, Katherine Hepburn, Gene Kelly, Kirk Douglas, Sophia Loren and Marlon Brando.
